Ruffins celebrate 50th anniversary
Robert and Peggy Ruffin celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party at Bailey Baptist Church Jan. 24.
The couple's children and grandchildren hosted the party.
They have three children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Robert is retired after serving 30 years with Nash County Schools performing school maintenance and is also retired after nine years as owner and operator of Small Town Video.
Peggy has retired after holding the position of supervisor of Quality Textiles for 24 years.
Mrs. Ruffin is the former Peggy Bissette of Sims. They were married Jan. 9, 1960.
