Vicks celebrate 50 years of marriage

Mr. and Mrs. Elton Vick of Elm City celebrated 50 years of marriage Dec. 26 with a family dinner at the American Legion Building in Elm City. The couple was roasted by their nephew, Dane Sharpe, and the host, Rachel Thorne, sister of Mrs. Vick.

Mr. Vick has worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 45 years. His wife was a teacher for 38 years.

Mrs. Vick is the former Blessin Thorne of Elm City.
