Mr. and Mrs. Bass celebrate 50th wedding anniversary
Bruce Dalton and Lois Morgan Bass celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 15 with a family get together hosted by their daughter, Terry Bass Wall, and their son, Jody Bass, at the honorees' home in Stantonsburg.
Mr. Bass farmed for 25 years and then worked with for the state in the landscaping department for 23 years before retiring. Mrs. Bass also farmed for 25 years and then worked at the Grocery Door for 25 years before retiring.
Mr. and Mrs. Bass have three children, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The couple married Dec. 15, 1962. She is the former Lois Irene Morgan.
