Mr. and Mrs. Deans celebrate 50th wedding anniversary
Ken and Peggy Deans celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party at their home Dec. 22 hosted by their son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Amy Deans.
Mr. Deans retired as unit supervisor, N.C. Division of Adult Probation and Parole, after 30 years of service. Mrs. Deans retired as clerk of court, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of N.C., after 34 years of service.
They have one child and one grandchild. Mr. and Mrs. Deans were married Dec. 19, 1962. She is the former Peggy Banks of Washington.
