Mr. and Mrs. Batchelor celebrate 50th anniversary


Mr. and Mrs. Donald Batchelor of Middlesex celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 16 with a family dinner at Carolina Barbecue in Garner.

Hosts and hostesses were their children and their spouses, Kim Murray and Steve of Spring Hope, Michelle Rosamond and Steve of Lakeland, Fla., Melody Evans and Richard of Wilson and Brian Batchelor and Lindsay of Knightdale, along with their nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

They were also given a special weekend getaway to Mount Airy.

Mr. and Mrs. Batchelor were married Feb. 16, 1963.

She is the former Joyce Holland of Lucama.
