Mr. , Mrs. Ferrell celebrate 50th wedding anniversary
Vann “Fuzzy” and Yvonne Ferrell of Lucama celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 30. A dinner party was held in their honor with music provided by The Redeemed at Spring Hill Presbyterian Church Fellowship Center in Lucama. One hundred guests attended.
The party was hosted by the couple’s daughter, son-in-law and grandson, Lori, Dennis and Nolan Parrish.
Mr. Ferrell is retired after 36 years of service driving trucks for Estes Express Lines. Mrs. Ferrell is retired with 34 years of service at Samsons Manufacturing and 10 years working for Wilson County Schools in child nutrition.
Mrs. Ferrell is the former Frances Yvonne Moore of Lucama. They were married Dec. 30, 1961.
