Anniversaries
Williams 50th anniversary John Henry and Earlene Williams celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 18. An anniversary dinner was held at The Legacy on Jan. 18 and a surprise dinner and party was held Feb. 16 at the American Legion Building in Elm City. Approximately 80 guests attended. The events were hosted by the couple's children, in-laws and grandchildren. Mr. Williams works at Inco, Inc., and Mrs. Williams is employed at the North Carolina Special Care Center. They have five children and nine grandchildren. Mrs. Williams is the former Earlene Adams of Elm City.
