John Herbert Small and Susan Jordan Small of Greensboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Margaret Elizabeth Small of Wilson, to Scott Hinnant of Kenly, son of Susan Hinnant of Lucama and Ken and Carol Hinnant of Kenly. The bride is the granddaughter of Eugene and Vivian Jordan of Tyner and Herbert and Annette Small of Elizabeth City. The groom is the grandson of R.J. Hinnant and the late Joann Hinnant of Kenly and Kathleen Peele of Lucama and the late George Beamon. A June 1 wedding is planned in Greensboro.
