Susan Ann Bishop of Cambridge, N.Y., announces the engagement of her daughter, Tabitha Lorraine Bishop, to John Anderson "Andy” Poole, son of Mittie Poole Morton and Butch Morton of Wilson and Johnnie Samuel Poole and Janet Poole of Elm City. Tabitha is the granddaughter of the late Donald Francis Bushee and Henrietta de Proulx of Manchester, Vt., and the late Everett Patrick Bishop of Poultney, Vt., and the late Mary Rose Dawson of Bennington, Vt. Andy is the grandson of the late Kenneth and Mary Ruth Poole of Rocky Mount and the late George and Mildred Stewart of Knoxville, Tenn. The wedding is planned for May 9 at 5 p.m. at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota, Fla.
