John and Beverly Carter of Wilson and Robert Manz of Kenly announce the engagement of their daughter, Caitlin Elyssa Manz of Kenly, to Joshua Glenn Daughtry of Kenly, son of Larry and Crystal Baker of Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Daughtry Jr. of Selma. The bride is the granddaughter of the late George R. "Bob” Mangum Jr. of Rocky Mount, Dennis and Linda Mangum-Dawes of Nashville, the late A.D. Carter and Gena Carter of Wilson and Al and Liz Leibengood and Tom and Verdella Manz of Fostoria, Ohio. The groom is the grandson of Paulette Willoughby of Kenly and the late Bill Willoughby and Maude Daughtry of Selma and the late Bobby Daughtry Sr. A Sept. 21 wedding is planned at Hearts Haven Youth Ranch in Elm City.
