Mr. and Mrs. Charles Richard Hey of Kenly announce the engagement of their daughter, Meagan Elizabeth Hey of Aiken, S.C., to Ensign Joshua Thomas Bladen, USN, of Mount Airy, Md., son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Gerard Bladen of Mount Airy, Md. The bride is the granddaughter of the Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Norman E. West of New Kent, Va., and Mrs. Marjorie H. Murdoch and the late J. Gordon Murdoch of Richmond, Va. The groom is the grandson of the late Alfred and Florence Baumhover and the late Charles and Margaret Bladen. A May wedding is planned in War Memorial Chapel on the Viginia Tech campus in Blacksburg, Va.
