Charity Leigh Rhodes and Johnnie Thomas Page III, both of Wilson, exchanged marriage vows Nov. 17 in a 5 p.m. ceremony at Rock Springs Center in Greenville. Pastor Chris Jenkins officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Paula Shreves of Grifton and Mike Shreves of Winterville. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Felix Harper of Grifton and the honorary granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Craft of Grifton. She graduated from North Lenoir High School and Mount Olive College with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. She is a financial aid assistant at Wilson Community College.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Thomas Page Jr. of Wilson. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clay Braswell Jr. of Wilson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Page of Stantonsburg. He graduated from Hunt High School and is a salesman for East Coast Equipment.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Maid of honor was Stephanie White of Kinston. Matron of honor was Leigh Tolar of Kinston.

Bridesmaids were Tracie Williams of Kinston, cousin of the bride; Denise Pope of Grifton; and Traci Ashley of Clayton, sister of the groom.

Flower girl was Macy Williams of Kinston, cousin of the bride.

Best man was the groom’s father.

Groomsmen were Grayson Shreves of Grifton, brother of the bride; Douglas Daniel of Sims; James Sharp of Kenly; and Richard Aycock of Stantonsburg.

Ring bearer was James Ashley of Clayton, nephew of the groom.

Register attendant was JoElla Wooten of Kinston, cousin of the bride.

Program attendants were Davis Ashley of Clayton, nephew of the groom; and Katie Jo Wooten of Kinston, cousin of the bride.

Wedding director was Nichole Reason.

Wedding music was provided by trumpeter Bob Jeffcott, vocalists Jordan Rouse and Ginger Johnson and accompanist Brittanie Taylor.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Rock Springs Center.

Reception greeters were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Graham Knott Jr. of Kinston. Cake cutters were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Thigpen of Kinston and Betty Brothers of Grifton.

A reception dance was given by Paula Shreves, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Graham Knott Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Reynolds, Virginia Knott, Laura Knott, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Grady, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Andrews and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Pittman.

On the eve of the wedding, the rehearsal dinner was held at Rock Springs Center hosted by the groom’s parents. Earlier in the day, a bridal luncheon was held at aTavola in Greenville hosted by Jo Thigpen and JoElla Wooten.

The couple took a honeymoon to St. Lucia and reside in Wilson.

Aug. 4: A sunset cruise was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Richard Aycock, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Daniel, Mr. and Mrs. James Sharp and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Daniel onboard the Marlin Fever in Morehead City.

Aug. 12: A Pampered Chef shower was given by Tracie Williams and Leigh Tolar at the Williams home.

Sept. 15: A monogram shower was given by Debbie Foss, Marie Gerrans, Ginger Johnson and Marilyn Rouse at the Rouse home.

Oct. 7: A Christmas shower was given by Traci Ashley and Diane Page at the Page home.

Oct. 20: A cocktail party was given by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Speziale, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Vance and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Warren at the Speziale home.
