Heather Lee Davis of Wilson and Kevin James Fitts of Wendell exchanged marriage vows Dec. 8 in a 2 p.m. ceremony at First United Methodist Church in Wilson.
The bride is the daughter of Judy Turner Davis of Wilson and the late Clark Davis. She graduated from Fike High School and East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance performance. She is the owner and operator of Heather’s Dance Inc. located in Knightdale.
The groom is the son of Tommie and Joan Fitts. He graduated from East Wake High School and North Carolina State University and is a salesman for Mims Distributing in Raleigh.
The bride was escorted by Bill Davis.
Maid of honor was Kristy Clark Davis, sister of the bride.
Matron of honor was Traci Davis Ashley, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Sara Ann Gallagher, Sarah Thomas Walston, Mary Elizabeth Smith, Corie Marie Fitts, Amy McClean Fitts, Patricia Fitts Hocutt, Kristen Neely Spainhour and Emily Katherine Dale.
Junior bridesmaids were Katelyn McClean Fitts and Kennedy Lee Fitts.
Flower girl was McKenley Reece Fitts.
Best man was the groom’s father.
Groomsmen were Kenneth Lee Fitts, Robert Thomas Fitts, Brett Tyler Hocutt, Jess Casey Petrosky, Brian Christopher Fitts and Eric Richard Cochran.
Junior groomsmen were Thomas Davis Ashley and James Dasher Ashley.
Ring bearer was Connor Lee Fitts.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Asbury Hall at the church.
On the eve of the ceremony, the rehearsal dinner was held at Something Different in Wilson.
The honeymoon was in the Dominican Republic. The couple will make their home in Wendell.
