Sarah Louise Bradley of Mebane and Stephen Russell Boyette of Lucama were united in marriage July 6 at Pine Lake Pavilion in Mebane. The Rev. Ray Wells officiated at the 6 p.m. lake side ceremony.
Clinton and Sarah Bradley of Mebane are the bride’s parents. Her grandparents are Buck and Louise Bradley and Dottie Scott and the late Paisley White Scott, all of Mebane. She graduated from Eastern Alamance High School and East Carolina University with a Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology.
The groom is the son of Rob and Beverly Boyette of Lucama and the grandson of Colette Page and the late Oliver Page of Wilson and Doris Boyette and the late Robert S. Boyette of Lucama. He graduated from Hunt High School and East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management. He is a drafting teacher and cross country coach at Hunt.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a formal A-line gown fashioned with a strapless, sweetheart neckline. Her fingertip veil was adorned with a pencil ribbon edge. She wore a strand of pearls given to her by her parents along with her grandmother’s pearl earrings.
She carried a bouquet of assorted wildflowers.
Megan Collins and Lindsay Finch of Mebane were maids of honor. Meghan Bradley of Mebane, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Whitney Leggette, Carla Stevens and Bailey Hattem of Greenville.
The bride’s attendants wore navy knee-length dresses fashioned with a sweetheart neckline.
Flower girls were Grace Anderson and Rachel Anderson of Cary and Laura Cross of Mebane.
They wore white sundresses with floral details.
The groom’s father was best man.
Groomsmen were Blake Jones of Lucama, cousin of the groom; Daniel Boyette of Lucama, brother of the groom; Andy Bradley and Tom Bradley of Mebane, brothers of the bride; and Will Edwards of Bailey.
Henry Anderson of Cary was ring bearer.
Wedding music was presented by Willy Fisher, vocalist and guitarist.
Landon Isaac was register and program attendant.
A reception at Pine Lake Pavilion followed the ceremony. Hosts were the bride’s parents. The wedding cake was made by bridesmaid Whitney Leggette.
On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Russell’s Steak House in Hillsborough.
They have returned from a wedding trip to Charleston, S.C., and are making their home in Wilson.

May 19: Family and friends gave a bridal shower at Marsh Swamp Original Free Will Baptist Church.
June 1: Family and friends gave a bridal shower at the home of Edwin and Terry Scott in Mebane.
June 8: Family gave a pig-picking at Marsh Swamp Original Free Will Baptist Church.
June 15-16: The bride’s attendants hosted a bachelorette weekend in Charleston.
June 29-30: Friends of the groom were hosts for a bachelor weekend in Asheville.
