Tiffany Renee Aycock and Mark Daniel Wilson, both of Wilson, were married June 8 in a 5 p.m. ceremony at Bailey United Methodist Church. The Rev. Paul Dunham officiated.

The bride is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Lonnie Ray Humphrey of Saratoga. She is the granddaughter of Harold Clemmons of Saratoga and the late Frances Clemmons, the late Helen Seamster of Wilmington and the late LeeRoy Humphrey of Jacksonville. She graduated from Beddingfield High School and Johnston Community College with a degree in therapeutic massage. She is a N.C. licensed massage and bodywork therapist in private practice in Wilson.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Ray Wilson of Wilson. He is the grandson of Mildred Murphy of Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Murphy of Winterville, the late Alice Tedder Wilson and the late William Jesse Wilson, both of Wilson. He graduated from Fike High School and North Carolina State University with a Bachelor’s degree in parks, recreation and tourism management. He is a parks and recreation events and marketing supervisor in Goldsboro.

Escorted by her father and her son, the bride wore an ivory beaded lace trumpet-style gown with godet inserts at the hem and a sweep train. The gown was accented with an organza sash, lace appliques and beaded floral embellishments. For her headpiece she wore an ivory two-tier tulle walking length veil with a raw edge.

She carried a hand-tied bouquet of yellow roses and white wax flowers with a wrapped handle of sheer ivory ribbon and pearls. On her bouquet, her paternal grandmother’s wedding ring was carried in her memory.

Matron of honor was Kimberly Young of Sims, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Anna Brock of Wilson, sister of the groom; Bridgette Baker of Kenly; and Sara Eatmon of Wilson. They wore bobbin net knee-length dresses with an illusion neckline and asymmetrically draped bubble skirt accented with a black taffeta sash. The matron of honor wore a black dress; the bridesmaids wore charcoal gray.

Kadence Aycock of Wilson, daughter of the bride, was flower girl.

Best man was the groom’s father. Groomsmen were Michael Wilson of San Francisco, brother of the groom; Paul Pridgen of Scottsdale, Ariz.; Ryan Wertz of Huntersville; Lindsay Herring of Wilson; Drew Rybarczyk of Raleigh; and David Aycock of Wilson, son of the bride.

Wedding music was presented by Carolyn Nagle, organist; Greg Griffin, guitarist and vocalist; and Sandie Massengill, vocalist.

Register attendant was Ashlie Gay of Raleigh, and program attendant was Elizabeth Herring of Wilson. Jean Griffin directed the wedding.

A reception at The Leaning Tree in Bailey followed the ceremony.

On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Leaning Tree.

The couple took a wedding trip cruise to the Bahamas. They are making their home in Wilson.

Nov 16: An engagement party was given by friends and family at the home of Michael and Anna Brock.

April 14: A bridal shower was given by Peggy Wilson, Anna Brock, Rebecca Humphrey and Kimberly Young at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Ray Wilson.

May 11: A bridesmaids’ luncheon was given by Wanda Allen at Williams of Wilson.

May 17-19: A bachelorette weekend took place in Myrtle Beach, S.C., with a bachelor’s weekend in Charlotte.
