Casey Rebecca Sawhook and Christopher Michael Radford, both of New Kensington, Pa., were married Aug. 10 in a 2 p.m. ceremony at Mount St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in New Kensington. The Rev. Monsignor Michael J. Begolly officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Pamela Sawhook of New Kensington and Robert Sawhook of Lower Burrell, Pa. She is the granddaughter of Audrey Defelice of Lower Burrell and the late Hugo Defelice and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sawhook of Tarentum, Pa. She graduated from Valley High School and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Finance and Economics. She received her Master’s degree from UNC-W and Univeritat de Valencia in Spain for an International Master’s of Business Administration degree with a concentration in International Finance. She is a field accountant with Wesco Distribution.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael A. Radford of Wilson and the grandson of Virginia B. Ryczak of West Point, Va., and the late Stanley J. Ryczak and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carthel C. Radford of Newport. He graduated from Hunt High School and the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He received his Master’s degree in Sports Administration from East Carolina University.

The bride was escorted by her parents.

The two maids of honor were Niki Contes and Dina Contes of New Kensington. Bridesmaids were Krissy Voll of Leland, cousin of the bride; Allison Langlands of Munhall, Pa.; Greta Luksyte of Leeds, U.K.; Kelsy Reitz of New York City; and Brittany Blackwell of Cary.

Best man was Brian S. Radford of Dallas, Texas, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Cody Sawhook of New Kensington, brother of the bride; Jonathan Pope of Middlesex; Hunter Barnes of Sims; Jason Schultze of Clayton; and Trent Bunn of Raleigh.

Ring bearer was Kiptyn Voll, godson of the bride.

A reception at Greek Orthodox Hall in Oakmont, Pa., followed the ceremony. Hosts were the bride’s parents.

On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Riverside Landing in Oakmont.

The Thursday before the wedding, a cookout celebrating the couple was hosted by Dina Contes and Brian Marzullo.

Mr. and Mrs. Radford took a wedding trip to Jamaica and are living in New Kensington.
