Karina Wences and Jason Denton, both of Wilson, exchanged marriage vows Aug. 25 in a 2 p.m. ceremony at St. Mary’s Free Will Baptist Church in Kenly. The Rev. John Palacios officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Panfilo Wences and Nicolasa Wences of Sims. She graduated from James B. Hunt High School and is attending Nash Community College.
The groom is the son of Bobby Wyrick and Wanda Denton of Greenville. He is the grandson of Harold Crumpler and the late Lottie Crumpler of Rocky Mount. He graduated from D.H. Conley High School and East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree and is employed with Purdue Pharmaceuticals.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico. They reside in Wilson.
