Emily Rose Long of Bailey and Jerald Alan Cooper Jr. of Wilson exchanged wedding vows Jan. 26 in a 3 p.m. ceremony at Bailey Church of God. The Rev. Paul Tedder officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Lee Long of Bailey. She received her high school degree from Wilson Community College and also studied school age education at WCC. She works in sales support for Fastenal.

The groom is the son of Rebecca Elaine Gardner Cooper and Jerald Alan Cooper Sr. of Wilson. He is the grandson of Agnes Gardner of Wilson and the late Ervin Gardner and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Cooper. He graduated from Ralph L. Fike High School and is a food serving professional at Parker’s Barbeque.

Mr. and Mrs. Cooper live in Bailey.
