Jordan Elizabeth Pittman and Stanley Brock Godwin, both of Wilson, exchanged marriage vows April 20 in a 4:30 p.m. ceremony at Myrtle Grove Plantation in Macclesfield. The Rev. Wayne King officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Jenny Pittman of Wilson. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Millard Leslie Pittman of Wilson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roger Fitzgerald of Micro. She graduated from Hunt High School and North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and is a business analyst for the Operations Division at BB&T.

The groom is the son of Stan and Jo Ann Godwin of Wilson. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jake Bunn of Wilson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Godwin of Wilson. He graduated from Fike High School and Barton College with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and is a portfolio risk officer at BB&T.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory off-the-shoulder gown fashioned with scalloped trim accenting the neckline and beaded lace appliques sewn on netting over a crystal satin lining. The gown featured a lace back and fit and flare silhouette.

For her headpiece, she wore a scalloped edged fingertip veil embroidered with pearls and rhinestones. For the reception, she wore an ivory flower headpiece adorned with rhinestones and pearls.

She carried a bouquet of pastel hydrangeas and roses.

Maid of honor was Elizabeth Pittman, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Allison Belcher, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Stacy Atwood of Raleigh, Sandee Hales of Holly Springs, Lindsey Talton of Wilson and Amber Godwin of Wilson, sister of the groom.

The attendants wore different color pastel sweetheart chiffon gowns featuring asymmetrical ruching throughout the bodice and a one-shoulder strap accented with ruffle detail.

Best men were the groom’s father and Brandon Godwin, the groom’s brother.

Groomsmen were Tyler Petty of Charlotte, Michael Parker of Greenville, Zach Stevens of Greenville and Ashley Narron of Middlesex.

Ring bearer was Donathan Jernigan, cousin of the bride.

Register and program attendant was Robin Irby of Wilson.

Wedding musicians were violinist Udeshi Hargett and harpist Vonda Darr.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Myrtle Grove Plantation, hosted by the family of the bride. Music at the cocktail hour was provided by violinist Udeshi Hargett. Reception music was provided by DJ Tommy Smith.

On the eve of the wedding, the rehearsal dinner was held at Myrtle Grove Plantation, hosted by the groom’s parents.

The couple took a honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They reside in Wilson.

• Nov. 27: An engagement party was hosted by Terri Stutts at her home.

• Jan. 19: An engagement party was hosted by family and friends at County Line Bluegrass Barn in Wilson.

• Feb. 24: A wedding shower was hosted by women’s ministry at Shiloh Pentecostal Holiness Church in Wilson.

• March 17: A bridal shower was hosted by family, friends and First Free Will Baptist Church at the home of Jenny Pittman.

• April 5-7: A bachelorette weekend was hosted by family and friends in Raleigh.

• April 13: A bridesmaids’ luncheon was held at the home of Jenny Pittman and was hosted by the bride and family.
