Angela Faye Lynn of Rocky Mount and Christopher Neal Johnson of Sims exchanged wedding vows May 11 in a 1 p.m. ceremony at the WRAL Azalea Gardens in Raleigh.

The bride is the daughter of Faye and the Rev. Walter Lynn Jr. of Rocky Mount. The bride’s father officiated at the wedding. She is the granddaughter of the late Nellie and Walter Lynn Sr. and the late Victoria and Kermit Johnson Sr., all of Rocky Mount. She graduated from Grace Christian School and Nash Community College and is employed with Vidant Edgecombe Hospital.

The groom is the son of Tim and Ann Johnson of Wilson. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Johnson of Elm City, Ann Price of Wilson, and Edna Parsons of Wilson and the late Clarence Parsons. He graduated from Wilson Christian Academy and Wayne Community College and is employed with GreenView Partners.

Honorary bridesmaids were Ashlea Smith, Amanda Smith, Anna Grace Stewart, Alaina Stewart and Abigail Stewart, all of Rocky Mount and all the bride’s nieces; and Emma Pate and Liza Pate, both of Wilson, the groom’s nieces.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at Lucky 32 in Cary.

The couple took a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas and are residing in Sims.
