MACCLESFIELD -- Farron Paige Williford and Richard James Johnson, both of Louisburg, were married Dec. 19 at Old Sparta Advent Christian Church. The Rev. James Ellis officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of James and Teresa Williford of Elm City. She is the granddaughter of Doug and Sandra Rodgers of Stantonsburg and the late Thad and Anne Blanche Williford. She graduated from E.T. Beddingfield High School and is employed as an assistant at Succulent Tastes Personal Chef Service.

The bridegroom is the son of Ronald and Betty Gupton of Louisburg. He is the grandson of the late Thackston and Ann Arwood. He graduated from Roanoke Rapids High School and is employed as a customer account manager at Rent-A-Center.

The couple took a wedding trip to Atlantic Beach and now reside in Louisburg.
