Erika Shavonne Chambers and Robert Toby White were married October 3, 2009, at 5 o'clock in the evening in Wilson. Elder Joe Jennett of Rocky Mount officiated at the ceremony.
More than 200 guests attended the ceremony, and the wedding party was made up of more than 20 of the bride and groom's relatives and close friends. The formal dinner reception followed at Hampton Inn & Suites Ballroom.
The bride is the daughter of Ms. Deborah Chambers and Mr. Stanley Virgil of Aberdeen and Raeford, N.C., Mr. Harold McIntyre of Virginia , and Ms. Juanita Clark of Maryland.
The groom is the son of Mr. Robert E. and the honorable Carol Allen White of Tarboro.
They honeymooned in Eastern Caribbean Islands.
