BB&T Promotions BB&T promotes Barrier to vice president WINSTON-SALEM - Carmen Kluttz Barrier has been promoted to vice president at BB&T. Barrier, who joined the bank in 2003, is an executive programs special projects manager in BB&T's Human Systems division. She is based at 200 W. Second St. The Salisbury native earned her bachelor's degree in computer information systems from Appalachian State University. She and her husband, Andrew, live in Salisbury. BB&T promotes Smith to assistant vice president Sherry Icard Smith has been promoted to assistant vice president at BB&T. Smith, who joined the bank in 1992, is an operations division production manager in BB&T's AML Management department. She is based at Forest Hills Road. BB&T promotes Page to vice president Steven Page has been promoted to vice president at BB&T. Page, who joined the bank in 1996, is an operations division support manager in BB&T's Regional Operations Support department. He is based at 2501 Wooten Blvd. The Reidsville native earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
