By Corey Friedman | Times Online Editor

Police are looking for a man accused of shooting at three people outside a Wilson convenience store Friday night.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired at the A & J Food Mart, 6406 Ward Blvd., shortly after 9 p.m. Police say a man fired a gun at a car pulling out of the parking lot with three people inside.

Police don’t believe anyone was injured in the shooting.

Officers canvassed the neighborhood nearby, knocking on doors and asking residents if they heard the gunshots or knew which way the shooter had run.

Store surveillance cameras captured images of the man police say fired the gunshots. Video frames show what appears to be a black man with facial hair wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call the Wilson Police Department at 399-2323 or Crime Stoppers at 243-2255.
