Convenience store robbed; surveillance photos released

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that took place Friday morning at S&K Mart on 5551 N.C. 42 West, Wilson.

Surveillance photos have been released in the robbery that occurred just after 9.

Suspects are described as possibly three Hispanic males, officials said. One suspect was wearing a green jacket.

Two men entered the store while a driver apparently waited outside in a burgundy Jeep Grand Cherokee, said Wanda Samuel, sheriff’s office chief of staff.

Suspects flashed a gun and took $4,000, Samuel said.

Anyone with information should contact Detective Josh Bissette or the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office at 252-237-2118.
