Garnet W. Mills

Garnet Wilmouth Mills, 82, passed away Friday, May 2, 2008.

She was the daughter of the late Oscar Wilmouth and Etta Gravitt Wilmouth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Mills; sisters, Ethel Wilbourne, Bay Ford, Myrtle Wilbourne and Virginia Dixon; and brothers, Tom Wilmouth, Craddock Wilmouth, and Fenton Wilmouth.

She is survived by one son, Larry Mills and wife, Sharon, of Hampstead; sisters, June Williams and Ophelia Epps, both of South Boston, Va.; and granddaughter, Melanie LoPresti and husband, Josh, of Raleigh.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today, May 5, 2008, at Evergreen Memorial Park, with the Rev. David Haley officiating. Receiving of friends at conclusion of service.

George Milton Webb

Feb. 17, 1937 -- May 2, 2008

ELM CITY -- George Milton Webb, 7l, died Friday. Funeral services were held today at 11 a.m. from Joyner's Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Melvin Moore and the Rev. Tony Parrish. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Flowers Webb; a son, Steve Webb and wife, Kathy, of Wilson; a sister, Nancy Webb of Raleigh; two brothers, Wilbur Webb of Tifton, Ga., and Joseph "Bo" Webb of Wilson; and three special relatives, Gail Webb Lapole of Rocky Mount, Robin Webb Corbett and husband, Ray, of Macclesfield, and Jet Webb and wife, Sharon, of Merritt Island, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Edward Webb and Thelma Gardner Webb.

The family received friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Joyner's Funeral, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, and at other times at 5673 Webb Lake Road.

Neva Ratcliff Tee

April 18, 1920 -- May 3, 2008

Neva Ratcliff Tee, 88, of Wilson, died Saturday. Funeral services were held today at 11 a.m. at Winstead United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. David Haley. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

She is survived by a daughter, Vicki Barfield and husband, Tim, of Cary; two sons, Rick Tee and wife, Connie, of Wilson and Roger Tee and wife, LaRue, of Kenly; and five grandchildren, Jonathan Tee of Raleigh, Leslie Barfield of Wendell, Andrew Tee of Greenville, Christopher Barfield of Concord, and Mary Catherine Tee of Boone.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Cleveland Tee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Friends of Residents in Long-term Care, 883-C Washington St., Raleigh, NC 27605.

The family received friends today at the church and at other times at 906 Buxton Circle.

Alan Pete Worrell

Alan P. Worrell, 64, of 1107 Lee St., died Wednesday. The funeral will be held this Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home, 805 E. Nash St., Wilson, 237-2624.
