The realities of drug use by Wilson teens will be discussed during the annual meeting of the Wilson County Substance Abuse Coalition Tuesday.
The coalition meeting, which is open to the public, will be at noon at Bill's Barbecue. Reservations are required. Call 237-1242.
The annual meeting will include a presentation of a recently conducted PRIDE survey, which measured drug use by youth in Wilson County. The coalition will use the survey as a tool in its efforts to prevent underage drinking and illegal drug use. The group will also work to increase parent and community involvement, which are believed to help curb illegal or other risk behaviors.
