Rick Vendetti

Bryan K. Waters
Bryan K. Waters has joined the United States Army under the delayed entry program.
Waters, a 2007 graduate of Halifax Community College in Weldon, reported to Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla., for basic training in March 2008.
He is the son of Bryan Keith Sr. and Katrina M. Waters of Wilson.
Robert B. Campbell
Army Spec. Robert B. Campbell has returned to Alaska after being deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The soldier is assigned to the 1st Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, a subordinate unit of the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division at Fort Richardson, Anchorage.
Spec. Campbell has been decorated with the Army Commendation Medal. The medal is awarded to individuals who, while serving in any capacity with the Army, have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism, meritorious achievement or meritorious service.
Spec. Campbell also has been awarded the Combat Infantry Badge and the Good Conduct Medal.
Campbell, an infantry rifleman, has served in the military for more than three years.
He is the son of Robert D. and Rachel B. Campbell of Lucama.
His wife, Luzviminda, is the daughter of Minda Chavez of Anchorage.
