Harvey blasts Mudcats past Huntsville 5-4 HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- Carolina Mudcats outfielder Kris Harvey came through in the clutch, blasting a two-run home run in the eighth inning to lift the Mudcats to a 5-4 win against Huntsville Friday night in Joe Davis Stadium. The Mudcats (24-18) won for the second straight night against Huntsville (29-13), the North Division leader in the Southern League. Matt Yourkin pitched 2 and 1/3 innings of relief to earn the win, improving to 2-2. Harvey's shot in the eighth gave Carolina a two-run cushion. Chris Mobley allowed an unearned run but still nailed down the ninth for his third save of the season. The third game of the five-game series resumes today.
