Thomas & Farris Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week: Allison Bartlett

Junior Allison Bartlett continued her consistent play last week, helping her Community Christian School varsity volleyball team win a pair of matches and making her this week’s Thomas & Farris Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week.

Allison posted a double-double of 16 digs and 11 service points to go with four kills and three aces as the Cyclones won in five games Tuesday at Lee Christian. She followed that with nine kills and three aces in a sweep of visiting Wayne Christian on Friday.

Allison, the daughter of Joan and Robert Bartlett of Wilson, is ranked No. 1 in her class at CCS and has an unweighted grade point average of 4.0. She is a member of the BETA Club and the Spanish Club as well as the junior class president in Student Government Association.

Allison also plays softball at Community Christian.

She is a member of Wilson County 4-H and raises chickens, turkeys and pigs. This past summer, Allison was selected for and attended the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Conference at N.C. State University.

She is active at Peace Church, where she is on the drama team and has gone on mission trips.

Allison is interested in a career in athletic training/sports medicine and shadows Barton College athletic trainers at their games.
