Thomas & Farris Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week: Eynde Frazier

Eynde Frazier was a big part of the Hunt High varsity girls soccer team’s three wins last week, making her this week’s Thomas & Farris Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week.

Eynde, a sophomore midfielder, had a goal in each of the Lady Warriors’ 3-A Big East Conference wins against Northern Nash and Southern Nash. In Friday’s 4-0 defeat of archrival Fike, she passed out two assists and scored on a penalty kick and Hunt, now ranked No. 1 among state 3-A programs, remained unbeaten through six Big East matches.

On the season, Eynde has nine goals and 17 assists.

She played volleyball and basketball at Hunt and is a member of the girls track team.

The daughter of Ronnia Cockrell and Richard Frazier, Eynde carries a 4.4 weighted grade-point average while taking all honors courses. She is a member of Club Unify, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Hunt Student Boosters Club.

She works part-time and volunteers for the Wilson Recreation Department and has volunteered for Special Olympics.

She has been selected for the Olympic Development Program soccer for four years, making the regional camp each time.
