Thomas & Farris Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week: Kelsey Lineberger


Senior Kelsey Lineberger helped the Hunt High girls tennis team start its season in grand fashion last week, making her the first Thomas & Farris Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week for the 2013-14 school year.

Kelsey won two singles matches at No. 2 and teamed with Emma Lantz for three victories at No. 2 as the Lady Warriors defeated Greenfield, Fike and Greene Central by a combined 26-1 margin to claim the inaugural Wilson Cup Tennis Tournament championship.

Kelsey has a weighted grade point average of 3.9 at Hunt, where she is a member of National Honor Society, Club Unify and Student Booster Club.

An avid photographer, Kelsey contributes her talents to Club Unify and has won several Eastern/Central North Carolina Scholastic Art Awards.

The daughter of Kelly and John Lineberger of Wilson, she volunteers her time with Ignite Church in Greenville as a videographer and Upward Soccer coach as well as with Special Olympics.
