Thomas & Farris Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week: Morgan Renfrow

As she has been throughout her career for the Wilson Christian Academy varsity girls basketball team, Morgan Renfrow was a steady force for the Lady Chargers last week, making her this week’s Thomas & Farris Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week.

Morgan, a senior guard, had seven points in WCA’s 57-24 victory Monday at Fuquay-Varina Hilltop Christian then netted 10 points Friday as the Lady Chargers topped New Life Storm homeschool team in Wilson.

Morgan is a three-year starter for the Lady Chargers, helping them win two N.C. Christian School Association championships. She has also helped lead Wilson Christian to three NCCSA softball titles.

The daughter of Teresa and Mike Renfrow of Bailey, Morgan has a 3.6 grade point average.

She was part of three Babe Ruth Softball World Series champions with the Wilson County Xtreme All-Stars. Morgan and her family attend Maccripine Free Will Baptist Church near Pinetops.

She is undecided on her college choice but is hopes to major in either business or radiology.
