Thomas & Farris Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week: Devin Hall


Charles B.Aycock High senior Devin Hall completed a remarkable diving career last week, making him this week’s Thomas & Farris Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week.

Devin won his third N.C. High School Athletic Association 3-A 1-meter diving crown Friday at Triangle Aquatic Center in Cary. He also was state champion as a freshman and sophomore and won the NCHSAA 3-A East Regional title all four years of high school.

Devin has a 3.4 grade point average at Aycock, where he is a member of Heath Occupation Students of America (HOSA). He is enrolled in the nursing fundamentals program at CBA and plans to major in nursing in college.

Previously, Devin played soccer and tennis at Aycock and was in Student Business Leaders of America (SBLA) and Photography clubs.

The son of Jackie Garrett of Pikeville, Devin works part-time as a diving instructor at the Goldsboro YMCA.
