Thomas & Farris Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week: Reagan Herndon

Junior Reagan Herndon wielded a hot bat for the Charles B. Aycock varsity softball team as it won all three of its games last week, making her this week’s Thomas & Farris Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week.

The Golden Falcons won a key 3-A Eastern Carolina Conference game against South Johnston on Tuesday as Reagan went 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI.

After CBA clubbed Hunt and Cleveland by a combined score of 36-6, Reagan finished her week with a .500 average (6 for 12), two doubles, five RBIs and two stolen bases.

The daughter of Lynne and Tommy Herndon of Pikeville, Reagan is ranked fifth in her class at Aycock, where she maintains a 4.65 weighted grade point average. She is a member of the Art Club and played varsity volleyball last fall.

She holds the state office of Faith in the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.

Reagan and her family attend Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Pikeville.
