Thomas & Farris Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week: Rob Warren

Senior Rob Warren helped the SouthWest Edgecombe High boys golf team to a pair of victories last week, making him this week’s Thomas & Farris Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week.

The Cougars, unbeaten in dual matches this season, won a 2-A Eastern Plains Conference match at Farmville Country Club on Monday. Rob is third in the individual race in the EPC. On Thursday, Rob fired a 75 at Roanoke Country Club to pace SWE past host Riverside Martin.

The son of Ann and Carl Warren of Pinetops, Rob ranks ninth in his class at SouthWest, where he maintains a 4.36 weighted grade point average. He is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Science Club and National Honor Society and holds the office of reporter in NHS and Science Club as well as Senior Class.

Rob is very involved with Pinetops Presbyterian Church, where he helped institute a continuous food drive to benefit homeless shelters in Tarboro.

Last summer, Rob attended Governor’s School of North Carolina to study social science.
