Thomas & Farris Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week: Chris Graham

Chris Graham delivered at the plate and on the mound last week for the Wilson Christian Academy varsity baseball team, making him this week’s Thomas & Farris Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week.

Chris, a junior right-hander, pitched all seven innings in the Chargers’ 10-3 win at Greenville Christian on Tuesday, striking out 12 batters and allowing just two hits with no walks. He earned his second win of the week Friday as he worked the last three innings of Wilson Christian’s 7-4 victory against Wilmington Christian, again not walking a batter.

In the Chargers’ three wins last week, Chris batted .583 (7 of 12) with two doubles, a triple and three RBIs.

The son of Laura and Danny Graham of Wilson, Chris is a member of the National Honor Society at Wilson Christian, where holds a 3.69 grade point average. He also was the point guard for the Chargers varsity boys basketball team.

During the summer, Chris played with the Wilson Bulldogs showcase baseball team.

He and his family attend Forest Hills Baptist Church where he is active in such projects as the food drive.
