KIDDIE KAMPUS OF WILSON

Summer Camp is June 9-Aug. 22 for ages 5 to 12. Bowling, skating, hip

hop and movement classes, arts and crafts and more. $115 per week

SUMMER BRIDGE READING CAMP

June 9-Aug. 31 at 214 Ward Blvd., across form Burger Boy. For ages

5-13. Programs designed to develop reading and vocabulary skills and

increase reading comprehension. Full-filled activities and field trips

also planned weekly. Breakfast, lunch and snack served. 8 a.m. to 6

p.m. 363-5105. $35 per week.

 

ARC CAMP SUNSHINE

Program for students in the EC program (special needs) in school. For

ages 4-21. Four-week camp is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through

Friday. June 16-27 and July 7-18 at West Nash United Methodist Church.

Staff is qualified to work with special needs children. Swimming, arts

and crafts, music and P.E. Lunch is provided. Small fee charged to

Instructional lessons headed by Tobs assistant coach Cory Conrad, who

has trained many successful Major League baseball players. Assistance

by Wilson Tobs players.

June 16-20 from 8 a.m. to noon at Fleming Stadium. $125 per child. Pick

Summer Camp for kindergarten through eighth grade. 119 E. Pender St.

Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to noon. At Wilson Gym. $98 per weekly session.

Shooting camp is from 1 to 2:30 p.m.; cost is added to the weekly fee

for a total of $163 for the week. Lunch provided for students who

attend both camps.

* Shooting/ Offensive Skills Camp for advanced players for ages 10-16

is June 16-20 and June 23-27, Monday through Friday, 1 to 2:30 p.m. $65

per weekly session.

Bulldog Golf

June 16-19, 9 a.m. to noon (morning session) and noon to 4:30 p.m.

(afternoon session) at Willow Springs Country Club. Camp dates set to

prepare golfers for the 30th annual Larry Pittman Memorial Wilson

County Junior Golf Tournament Aug. 4-6. Camp is directed by Barton head

coach John Hackney and Fike High School head coach Jim Boykin Jr. with

assistance from college players, area high school coaches and Wilson

golf professionals. For ages 6-17. Cost is $150 for morning session

campers and $250 for all-day campers. Sibling discount available. Lunch
