Rain helps open fair Wednesday, September 17, 2008
Not many people attended the American Legion Wilson County Fair Tuesday evening as a chilly rain fell, leaving puddles on the midway.
Despite the small attendance and gloomy weather and carnival workers constantly wiping down their wet rides, officials praised the fair and what it meant to the community during the 75th anniversary ceremony |
