As you drive around Wilson, there are many items that scream for our attention from the side of the road.
Twenty-six thousand forks in a church lawn would certainly catch your attention, and that’s what the youth group from First Free Will Baptist Church at 4865 W. Nash St. was counting on. Around fifty people spent an overcast afternoon last Saturday, placing 26,000 white, plastic forks in the front lawn of the church to help draw attention to worldwide starvation and poverty. |
