Now Playing: Man Exchanges Gunfire with Deputies Wednesday, January 30, 2013 Agents from the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation comb the scene of an officer involved shooting Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 5868 Bottoms Dairy Road outside Elm City, N.C. Chief Wanda Samuel said that deputies responded to a report of a person shooting inside a home, and when they arrived the suspect later identified as Ashby Ellis Silver, 65, open fire on them. Deputies returned fire striking the suspect. Silver was transported to Wilson Medical Center with whats believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
