Dedication ceremony of Paul Berry Hickory Grove Park Monday, October 27, 2008
The past met the present Monday with the dedication of the new Paul V. Berry Hickory Grove Park in downtown Wilson.As Mayor Bruce Rose reflected on the history of the neighborhood, City Manager Grant Goings said the park's completion was an investment in the city's future. Berry, whose name the park bears, thanked many in the audience for their work in making the park a reality.
