Barack Obama promised a large, enthusiastic crowd In Wilson Monday night that, if elected president, he would be a champion for working families.Nearly 2,000 people came to Beddingfield High School Monday night to see Obama. It was his second trip to eastern N.C. and came just over a week before the state's May 6 primary elections.
