Now Playing: The power of prayer Thursday, May 01, 2008 Wilson -- Some joined hands as they prayed. Others lifted their hands toward the heavens. They prayed for the healing of the land and for the elected officials in city, state, and federal government. Some came just to give thanks. Between 150 to 200 Wilson residents showed up at the Wilson County Courthouse steps Thursday afternoon to observe the country's 57th National Day of Prayer.
