Now Playing: Hear their story about the day fire changed his life Wednesday, August 13, 2008 WILSON COUNTY -- One man calls the action heroic — another calls it just being human. Ray Barbario, 54, said he, and Wilson County Sheriff Deputy Brandon Massey, will be friends for life. Barbario credits Massey with saving his life when a fire destroyed his home and his two vehicles. On Aug. 5 at around 10 a.m., Barbario, who lives at 4843 Sawdust Road, was getting ready to change the oil in his van. This is their story of what happen that morning...
