Now Playing: Fire destroys mobile home; owner taken to hospital Tuesday, August 05, 2008 A Wilson County man has been taken to the hospital after his doublewide mobile home was destroyed by fire Tuesday morning. The name of the owner of the home at 4843 Sawdust Road was not available immediately. He was taken to Wilson Medical Center for treatment of smoke inhalation and minor injuries. The mobile home was a total loss, as were two vehicles parked beside the residence. Six volunteer fire departments responded with about 40 personnel, but the home was engulfed in flames when the first firefighters arrived around 10 a.m. The origin of the fire was not immediately known.
