Now Playing: Whirligigs were installed Thursday, October 16, 2008 Whirligigs were installed in the Paul V. Berry Hickory Grove Park on Wednesday morning. Four whirligigs were placed in the park at 210 Kenan St., just in time for the Whirligig Festival Nov. 1-2. City crews set the poles for the whirligigs four-feet deep in the ground on Monday. Whirligigs are a theme of downtown public art. A dedication of the park will take place on Monday, Oct. 27, at 11 a.m.
