Fike Golden Demons 1st Practice Sunday, August 03, 2008
Fike kicked off the area practices at 8 a.m., drawing approximately 60 players for the junior varsity and varsity teams. After working out three days a week for most of the summer, the Golden Demons broke into JV and varsity squads and running a standard practice of offensive and defensive drills. Fike returns 25 players from last season, including nine starters, that made the playoffs for the first time in three years in 2007, finishing 6-6 overall and 2-3 (fourth) in the 3-A NEW 6 Conference.
