NOTICE OF SERVICE OF PROCESS BY PUBLICATION

IN THE MATTER OF: A. B. (the juvenile) A Female Child born on or about November 30, 2005, in Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina. TO: PENNY BENNETT, Mother of the above named juvenile. TAKE NOTICE that a Nonsecure Custody Order and Petitions alleging dependency and neglect were filed on April 26, 2019 and May 29, 2019, in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court, Juvenile Division, High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. The relief sought against you may include removal of the juvenile from your legal custody and termination of your parental rights to the juvenile named above. You must answer these Petitions within forty (40) days of August 17, 2019, exclusive of that date. You are entitled to attend any hearing affecting your rights. The Pre-Adjudication, Adjudication, and Dispositional Hearing in this matter is scheduled for October 24, 2019. You have a right to be represented by a lawyer at all stages of the proceeding. If you want a lawyer and cannot afford to hire one, the Court will appoint a lawyer to represent you. You may hire a lawyer of your choice at any time, or you may waive the right to a lawyer and represent yourself.
