By Eddie Fitzgerald | Times Staff Writer The Wilson County Cooperative Extension Service will hold its annual Wilson County Tobacco Production meeting Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Wilson County Agricultural Center. Hannah Burrack and Loren Fisher, N.C. State University tobacco extension specialists, will give an update on production and address insect management. Norman Harrell, agriculture extension agent, will address the tobacco budget, disease management and other tobacco issues. Tobacco information booklets should be available at the meeting. There will also be two hours of pesticide recertification credits. Please call 237-0111 to register to attend. |
